Diamond wedding rings are a great idea if you have a simple engagement ring. If you have a solitaire engagement ring, almost any diamond wedding ring will match it. You can get a simple band with five or six quarter carat diamonds on it that would look fantastic with almost any simple engagement ring. You could also get a diamond wedding ring that is just covered in hundreds of tiny diamonds to sparkle. Another great idea is to get a diamond wedding ring that has colored diamonds on it. You can only get away with this if you have a simple engagement ring. If you have a very intricate and busy engagement ring, then a diamond wedding ring will not match and will just look silly.

So when should you purchase a plain wedding ring? Many women want to have an awesome diamond wedding ring, but depending on your engagement ring, that just might not be an option. Look at your engagement ring for a minute. Do you have just one center diamond, or do you have some accent diamonds as well? If you have diamond accents, you can still get a diamond wedding ring and sometimes a plain wedding ring just won’t work. But if you cannot get a diamond wedding ring that lines up with your engagement ring’s diamonds, you should probably think about just getting a plain wedding ring instead. If you have colored accent diamonds or an intricate design with them, then you should definitely think about simply getting a plain wedding ring instead of a designed one. That way you will not have to make sure that things are not too busy.
