Buying a Wedding Ring Set

July 13th, 2010

Congratulations! You are going to get married. This is a very exciting time in your life. Perhaps you have not yet thought about it, but when you purchase the engagement ring (if you have not already), you should think about purchasing a wedding ring set instead of individual rings. There are several reasons why you should purchase a wedding ring set instead of individual rings.

One reason why it is better to buy wedding ring sets instead of individual rings is the cost. When you buy individual rings you will have to purchase an engagement ring, a wedding ring for your soon to be wife, and a wedding ring for yourself. If you think about that, the cost is going to keep adding up! Like most wholesale items, the more you buy the better deal you can get. The same is true with jewelry. If you buy three rings, you will get a much better deal than buying the three separately. This is especially true if you shop sales. If you can find one great wedding ring set on clearance for hundreds of dollars off the retail price, you will be set. If you find an engagement ring on clearance, you might think that you’re ahead of the game. But then you still have to search for a matching wedding ring for your wife, and if you are looking for one to match specifically chances are you will be hard pressed to find a great ring on clearance. You will most likely find yourself paying top dollar for the final two rings.

Buying a wedding ring set is so simple. When you are planning a wedding there are a million things that you need to think about. You have to deal with invitations, linens, guest lists, registries, wedding gown, bridesmaids and groomsmen, and on and on! There are so many things to think about that you do not need to be thinking about finding a perfect wedding band for your wife and for yourself. If you buy the wedding ring set when you purchase the engagement ring, then you will already have the rings and will not have to worry about it at all. If you have to search for these rings, it can be quite difficult. You will have to match the gold wedding ring to the gold engagement ring and make sure the colors match, the stones match, etc.!

With both the cost and the ease of wedding ring sets, it just makes sense to buy the set instead of individual rings!
